LR never contacted me about extending warranty - I contacted a dealer myself, what they did contact me with was details of extending my LR Assist. I was quoted £1k for 1 year extension of the warranty which I decided was too much. Currently running RRS with no warranty in place. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

If you get the extended warranty leaflet from a dealer read the fine print of what is NOT included, it will chill your bones.

Strangely, Gatwick LR rang me in Sep to tell me my warranty was about to expire. Little did they realise I hadn't owned the car for nigh on two years at that point |

Not a big fan of any after market warranty, whether it be automotive or for a washing machine, they are all totaly over priced and have more exclusions than you can shake a |

I extended mine, although the dealer had not contacted me about it.
