TDV8 Idle speed

My TDV8 has an idle speed of about 850 - and this seems to be constant, irrespective of engine temperature. I think this is too high when the engine is warm Does anyone know what the idle speed should be at normal operating temperature? and if this should be higher when the engine is cold? The car is great and has done approx 6,500km.

The idle speeed varys from 750-900 depending on ambient temp and some other mapping factors, so your 850 is around the norm.
