Spur of the moment stuff friday and placed the order for my RRS HSE but no idea (not even any brochures) about what i need to spec on top.

has to be a dealer fit option as car already built. Car is likely to do 10k only and mainly driver only but might have 3 kids in back occassionally. Might see mud in puddles but thats about it!

Grey/Ivory leather!

Thinking of;

1. Privacy (included in deal already foc)
2. Tracker (if insurance required)
3. audio module/ipod cradle (is this two options)
4. Boot liner/rubber mat maybe
5 Car mats - premium or rubber
6. Can you get rear seat cover?
7. Removable tow hook (not sure if i need but is it a good resale item?)
8. Roof rack and ski bars

any other obvious ones i should consider?

If its never going off road then Side steps look pretty good (IMO).

I always have rubber mats in mine, if you have the possibility of kids in the car then its far easier to keep clean and tidy.

Yes a set of rear seat covers is a avaiable as well as front

Tow pack doesn't seem to increase the value and costs, so if you don't need it then let the next owner fit it if they want it. BUT if you need to carry any bikes then you will need one for the bike rack!

If you intend to use the ski rack to go to the Continent then a set of snow chains is also going to be needed for some countries.

Rubber footwell mats are really good as they have a high lip around them so any water/ snow you bring into the car stays in the mat until you drain it out, carpet mats absorb the water and stay damp. The heavy duty rubber boot liner mat (not the tray) is also very good at protecting the carpet - they tray is a pain if you have to fold the rear seats to get a big load into the boot as it has high lips.

I don't have them but a few here also have the driving lights fitted in the front bumper - have heard they are very good even though the RRS has Xenon headlights

You will also need a set of Tasmod's sill protectors!

The loadspace mat part number EAH500090PMA is what I mean - it's a large rubber mat with no raised edges, the advantage over the Loadspace protector is that it is flexible and allows easier access to the jack etc in the event you need to get into the storage area under the floor - with the protector you get a rigid tray with raised edges.

Tasmods are a set of sill protectors developed by one of the members here and they are better at protecting the door threashold sills than the factory supplied items as these curve over the lip of the sill.
