The D3 has the better lighting/aircon in the rear due to the 7-seat config so I doubt we'll see it in the RRS |

Thanks for the info Emma - I too have a RRS and a D3 and basically agree with what others have said about the 2 cars. The RRS is a far better drive but the D3 is such a useful car, it's a bus, van, garbage truck and executive car all rolled into one. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Land Rover's original plan was to design the Discovery 3 and once that was finished to design the RRS using as much of the Discovery as they possibly could. The engineers that took on the RRS design task however couldn't resist changing the suspension, which achieves the better driving dynamics, but blew the design budget and unit build cost (the different suspension needed different tooling). As a result the interior of the RRS had far less time and money spent on it than should have been the case and that shows itself in many ways.

My Sport HSE has rear aircon and sunroof which is an Oct 06 date, when checking out saw the original order and it was for a standard HSE spec vechicle, no added extras ordered.
