been looking at a VW Golf 1.9TDI Match

07 reg, very low miles for about £11k

Does 55mpg
Tax is £120 a year
insurance £200/year

12 gallon tank, 660 miles per fill at £69 a tank.

Its cheap motoring and reliable.

Got a 3 car garage so got the space to keep a runabout.

Kam, what PX's do you get in? L319 D4 HSE

My sister in law had a Golf, which was a similar age

It got a vibration at speeds of around 60mph

dealers changed various parts of the drive shaft etc and then told her that all golfs did it and there was nothing else they could do Confused

nice of VW to design a 60mph vibrating car that even women don't like Whistle

Popped into a dealer to look at the Golf TDI Match, They're very well specced for such a noddy car I felt (or perhaps I am just very out of touch with what noddy poxy cars have these days Laughing )

Off the top of my head..

Climate
CD/MP3
Ipod dock
Multi function s/wheel in leather
electric windows/mirrors
cruise control
computer
split rear seat
ski hatch
alloys
air-con cooled cubby box
armrest that slides
Front and rear cup holders
lumbar adjustment
rain sensor
auto lights
sunglasses holder in roof lining Cool

Am I deluded or is this not bad for £11K? Question L319 D4 HSE

To think that Nissan have to give away Micras Laughing It's the choice of the old man or lady around here that always drives 10mph under the posted limit never going faster than about 43mph (downhill with the wind).

Nobody ever got fired for recommending a Golf, Adam - they are solid motors Thumbs Up
