Just been out for a meal with the family and my brother in laws looking at a Bose Lifestyle 42? system, with multi room link up and outdoor speakers for his property he is currently renovating

Is there anybody on here who he could get a decent deal through?

From what I read (my parents do have one of the cheaper lifestyle systems) they are considered not very good for the money, but then they sound a lot better than a welsh pony Big Cry Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

BOSE systems do sound good, but can't say they're worth the money - especially if you have ears like mine that can't differentiate between a £500 system and £5k system Embarassed

I agree, the sound produced is just as good as a cheaper system to my ears too

Spoke again to him this morning, and he says there is a Bose shop he has been speaking to in one of these freeports shopping centers, these already have 10% knocked off for what ever reason, but if one of these gets returned under the return period Bose give, they sell that with another 10% off. So a 20% saving Very Happy

Ohhhhh no. you get what you pay for, I have the Bose Lifestyle 48 (which is what you mean I think), 4.5K is what I paid for it but you can now get it for 3.5k in a few places I know of. It is simply AWESOME, watching a film or listening to music on this system is astonishing, I hooked this up to a Loewe TV and I have a dream set up now, pity I've got little time to use it Big Cry

Cheers for that Thumbs Up

Been looking at the Bose website, and i now think it might be the LifeStyle 38 as that one has the built in hard drive too and the balance of his quote is made up with the extra speaker systems for the other rooms and the outside speakers.

I'll point him to the firm you have mentioned, all this looking at stuff i'll never afford is making me mad Big Cry
