HELP!!

What do i do?

Just went out to get some thing to eat and on the way home hit a ditch/pot hole and now have this!!!

Glad you avoided that mobile phone that was left in the road! Laughing

Seriously though, that's not good news. It looks like a contractor has been working and hasn't patched up their repair properly. I'd say a call to the council and a follow up letter asking who the contractor was and their head office.

Poor show, hope you get it sorted.

Jay - just found this by googling

"A pothole can be dangerous at the time an incident takes place, but if it was not dangerous at the time of the last statutory inspection, and the council has not yet been made aware of the danger, then there is no legal responsibility on the part of the council for damage or injury.”

use 2 solid rulers

one laying across showing width and the other vertical resting on the other to show the depth, take few photos etc

Might be worth trying to find out the last statutory review of the road and going from there Rolling Eyes

is it just the tire or the wheel aswell Question

Mate thats a real bummer. Sad to see... let us know what happens.. Go back with those rulers and get some daytime shots. This Jon had this and got a claim through, so will ask him how he did it tommorow for you.
