Brake warning light

Guys or even ladies ,would you know if the brake warning light stays on for a while then resets after having all 4 brake pads changed .

The job was done by my local garage and the fella wasnt to sure but asked me to give it a day or 2 and bring it back if said light is still on .

Shocked not that i am aware - light only stays on if sensor compromised - extra £12 ish to replace - if light on sensor needs replacing IMO - there is no ' reset' - as far as TDV6 is concerned....

Yes, the wear sensors on the brake pads can only be triggered once, then they need to be replaced. If the shop didn't install new ones, you will keep getting the fault light even though the pads are brand new.
