Here across the pond someone had a white RRS striped in black. Not my cup of tea, but it definitely stands out from the crowd: http://rangerovers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22324

I like it,

but not sure if its because the khan ones have the kit and wheels etc

definatly would need some different wheels to pull it off

but will make it stand out

I think that Rangies have a certain class about them when in their unadorned state.

I am sorry, but I think this looks a bit "Chavvy"

Perhaps some Burberry style seat covers would complete the mods?

I agree, I think it looks Chavvy too. But have you considered trying vinyl which can be removed leaving paintwork intact if you dont like it? I had it done to a silver R8 a few months back (red stripes, not quite as big a surface area I grant you). You're probably looking in order of about 700-£1000 ??? Worth a look maybe.

Me personally, I've been considering a very subtle flat dark silver stripe (on black). If I have it done I will def use vinyl so I can remove to sell.

It would certainly stand out if you had it done... not my cup of tea either, but if you like it then why not? It's your car to do with as you see fit Thumbs Up

Personally, i don't really like stripes on cars.

It will certainly stand out and as there are more and more RRS's on the road it will be a real point of difference.

Think how boring it would be if we were all the same Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Personally not my cup of tea, I dont think it looks bad but wouldn't do it to my car. What matters is that you like it and if you do, go for it.

I would seriously consider EX-X5's point about using removable vinyl instead of painting - when you come to sell the car, you'll have real difficulty selling it or p/x'ing it with that sort of paintwork. 2006 '56 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java Black, Alpaca Interior, PTI, Sidesteps, 22" Stormers wrapped in 285/35/22 Toyo Proxes, Java Framed SC Grille, Java/Zambezi Side Vents, Matt Black LR3 Door Handles, Matt Black Lower Tailgate Trim, Colour coded lower body trims, Semi Smoked Taillights, Chrome Mirrors and Fog Light Bezels, Reflex Exhaust Back, Full Pentagon AutoGlass Privacy, Tasmod Sills, Clear Side Repeaters, pics in gallery!

Don't like the Black/Orange myself, but have seen one in Black with the roof/bonnet in a Silvery Grey and have to admit it looked really cool. in order to pull it off, your ride must be hooked up, you cant have it all stock looking with a stripe, it will look funny. I think when you have all the other goodies it may balance it out a bit, so that people are not saying "whoa look at that stripe Laughing " you want them to see that eveything is clean and goes together well.

just my thoughts
