2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
wheels

OK Hi everyone

New to the forum

Just about to pick up my new RRS TDV6 SE Stornaway

It Comes with rather dodgy 10 spoke 18 inch alloys can someone tell how much difference it makes to the ride with 20 inch and 22 inch wheels.

cheers

Welcome and congratulations on a fine choice of car Thumbs Up

I have a 2006 TDV6 HSE without Dynamic Pack fitted and opted to trade up from stad 19's to 20" Stormers.

I instantly noticed the ride was significantly firmer and can tend to get a bit more crashy over broken surfaces although this is inevitable when moving to larger/lower profile tyres.

The look of the car is, IMHO infinately better on 20's. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Thanks for the reply I thought as much, i have had an Audi A6 3.0TDI S line for the last 3 years and my concern is that my wife has not stopped complaining about the hard uncomfortable ride, i couldn't bear to have another 3 years, maybe its worth the sacrifice on looks for a quiet life. I would definitely not go above 20 inch but see how it goes.

Picking it up this morning 10am i have never been so excited about getting a new car i don't know what's come over me, its so different to anything i have had before.

Regards

Hi CGB

If you are looking to keep a comfortable ride 20s are the way to go, 22s will be too stiff for what you want. As a RRSport.co.uk user you get a 5% discount of any wheel and tyre package at Designer Wheels. Check out the site and give me a call on 0151 343 0003 if you need advice (advice is not just about our wheels, if you have a question just ask).
