United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Steering Stabilty

TDV8 Second Car, problems started with "Mechanical " Knock as soon as anything but smooth Tramac was driven on. Local dealer tried to fob us off with a standard sheet about the Hydraulic Dump Valve on dump mode. Being a Mechancial Engineer I knw this was a completer Red Herring. More winging made them fix it. New Anti Roll bar Bushhes and Software update.

Now the Car has developed another fault, on flat smooth tarmac the steering moves you over by 3-4 ft The steering Wheel hasn`t moved! Believe me it scares the XXXX of of you. has happened 7/8 times

Dealer cannot find anything wrong with the car. Any one out there suffered similar probs

Any response would be appreciated.

Most cars will always pull to one side or the other over distance but I guess this is happening over a short distance. If you really consider you have a major problem I would insist to your dealer that LR send out their hit squad. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

After any suspension repair the RRS needs the four wheel alignment done. Thats what my Dealer told me. But it needs newish tyres for it to be done accurately. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone
