BT are such w rs

Ive been calling them for weeks about a line i never had and they were threatening court action over a £4.50 bill for the same line i didnt have

I eventually got through to an idiot in a call center who organised for the £4.50 to be credited and the bill cancelled however he dropped a bo ck and credited £4050.00 and sent me a final bill with the account £4045.50 in credit

big old company - classic silo approach to business means all control is lost - just part of the cycle and all organisations go through it imho

There's a lot wrong with ALL large companies (you should try working where I do!) but BT do come in for a regular beating.... never mind Boolia, only two weeks to go!

It's the same down under - I moved into my new house 3 months ago and am still waiting for Telstra (BT's exact equivalent) to connect me up!!

I have a complaint and potential compensation pending but they won't progress that until I have an account which won't happen until an engineer arrives to do the work!!!

tell me about it, i work for openreach on the front line bunch of ,managers sucking up to idiots that hav'nt got a clue have to provide service

completing an install yesterday - BT Openreach engineer turned up alone, installed an overhead cable connection to the new build - completed the whole fit in under 2 hours - left with the line working and even went and checked the connections in the house - 2 hours later the BB went live

I think this all down to who you get to deal with , the only problem seems to be the amount of monkies that are employed by BT. So the chance of you getting a good one are quite remote.

I agree - I've have dealt with quite a few idiots from BT too - the guy yesterday was excellent

as 2nd rower states depending on your skills and age you should get in no problem. Brother in law is just emigrating to North queensland, he is a builder and expecting a boom time.

I moved down here with BT when they took over my previous company which was owned by Reuters, the only good thing i got out of them was my Oz residency
