That left wing struck the runway. From what it looks like to me he didnt apply enough left yaw and right bank. Usual procedure was followed 99% of the way down. But when he went for the touchdown there wasnt enough right bank to compensate for the yaw. I'm sure the xwind component was considered before but it was within its limits just probably. Have a look on youtube at some xwind landings especially Boeing xwind landing tests. Pretty impressive.
Hats off though he didnt do any more damage.

Yes looks like the left wing tip touched the runway.

I believe everything looked good till he applied left rudder to align with the runway. Too much too quick, maybe also a bit of gust at the wrong moment. On modern airliner you usually do not apply much bank when landing because wings and engine are very close to the runway and is very easy to touch.

But at the end, good recovery. '08 RRS TDV8

Agree, should not have found themselves in that situation, but there's always a lot of pressure to land at the destination airport.
By the way, a woman driving it seems Wink , copilot. Now they call her an hero, well.......and also big fault of the commander. '08 RRS TDV8
