Be sure that it is not normal. It should last for at least 3-4 years or more if you took a good care of it(checking the electrolyte level in the battery) 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,.....

It's not unheard of that batteries don't last as long as they might.

MDP had all sorts of problems in his SC caused by a failing battery.

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

Nobody, not even the manufacturers can answer that with certainty.

Generally, in our region, if the battery lasts more than a year we're happy. More than 2 years is a bonus!
There have been cases of batteries going flat in a couple of months but of course you can make a warranty claim within the first year (over here anyway).

Markos, in our market the cars come with sealed maintenance-free batteries. So no way to top up the water! Malaysia Boleh!

It's common sense really sportman... like you say, running things like air compressors, running the audio long after the engine's off if you've left the ignition on. Batteries do perform differently under different environmental conditions as Bobby says... in the UK, where we don't really have extreme temperatures in either direction, you should really expect a battery to last a good 3 or 4 years. Your mileage may vary.

High temperatures will call a batteries capacity to hold charge in the medium to long term.

Believe temperatures as low as 30 degrees can cause this phenomenon.... 2022 P440e AB

sportman, this is as good an answer you'll get. Any battery, whether for car, RRS, toy, etc. will wear out sooner or later. Misusing will only hasten the process.
There are so many variables involved and you will not get a "right" answer as to the 'life' of a battery. Malaysia Boleh!

The battery of the Sport has the same warranty as the car here in North America, 4 year or 50K miles whichever occurs first. I don't know how it is in the UAE, but you may still be entitled to a free replacement - and have them check the alternator, too.
