Advice on Arden chipping for TDV6

Hi,

Anybody tried the Arden chip for the TDV6 ?

I am looking for better but reasonable hp with stable mpg and above all a long term solution that won't have my engin explode in 2 months.

thanks

Bob, any reason why you're drawn to the Arden upgrade? You could get a discount from forum sponsor Turbochip Very Happy

I suspect Turbo chip supplies the Arden chip. Who will then charge you a premium for their name Exclamation Like they supply Overfinch, Racing Green and many others. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

2 reasons to go for arden (besides that I don't mind of the price)
- easily removable as it is not an upgrade of the ECU so I can back to my original settings
- easily purchasable for me who lives in France.

The problem is that I fear that they boost too much the engine wich can be dangerous for the engine or the gearbox (i intend to keep my car for around 10 years)

bests

If you're talking about a plugin, these are not well regarded. As you know, it is much safer for the engine to have it's ECU remapped and if you are planning to keep the car for so long, I don't know as if it would be a wise thing for you to do.

Bonne chance, as they say in your country Wink
