would it help with the slight hesitation when you put your foot down? This is the only thing that has annoyed me about the car so far! On order - FL2 TDV4 SE in Black

THe slight hesitation is the gearbox pondering whether to drop from second gear( which it normally pulls away in ) to first gear ( for WOOAA starts).
If you put your foot down more slowly but still as far it pulls away in second like your hair's on fire Shocked

I learnt this method before my remap.

I had a remap done by Steve a couple of months ago.
Much better off the line. Pulls strong up to 4k revs and the speed limiter (private roads of course Embarassed )

MPG was better by about 2-6 mpg depending on hooligan behaviour).
Towing my 2 tonne 26 foot caravan is a different experience altogether...still getting 24mpg.
solo 30 - 35.
I was competing with a Q7 along the heads of the valleys road in wales for about 20 miles a few weeks ago.
Really made him sweat! RRS's handle much better than Q7's on the limit.
Made a cooper s driver really mad coming back from wales. He was sliding all over the place.
I mnade him look stupid up to about 55 when he stopped sliding. He was crapa round islands.

Steve did my remap and then joined me on a joyride to see if I was pleased.
I was giggling like a little kid.
Best part.....no smoke unless you floor it , then you get a small puff and no more.

Best money I ever spent..

Timings on my performance meter.

0-60 before remap 11.9 (in D just flooring it)
11.2 (sport)
after remap
0-60 9.0 (d)
0-60 8.8 (sport)

Good luck , with a money back offer you have nothing to lose.

I'll bet you don't have your money back!

Mart - he clearly didn't know how to drive - in the right hands through Wales, even a Cooper would make a TDV6 RRS look a bit silly IMHO

I agree.

I don't think he was an experienced driver.
He even wore his baseball cap backwards.....perhaps he lost the instructions?

He did look like a numpty and was getting very angry at being beaten.

maybe it wasnt an "s" but it was badged up?

A bit like some of us buying SC badges...

however sounds interesting about the Q7 - I had a head to head with a 3.0tdi Q7 away from the Tolls in France this week and he killed me (mines not chipped) - he had a slight head start and I thought I'd at least stay with him however he just pulled away progressively Sad
