turbo chipped in service station

Just had my TDV6 turbo chipped. Fantastic service, emailed them sunday night, i was on my way to Loughborough on Monday morning. They called me as i was on my way and arranged to meet in Northhampton services on way. Met guy named Alastair and job was done in 30 mins. This has increased the MPG and pulls so much better and smoother. Great service...... Thanks Andrew Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

exige, mine to was done at a motorway service station in about half an hour, like yours, its a dam site quicker than my last one which seemed to take forever once they had removed the ECU took it away for reprogramming then had to refit it, etc etc etc

It will get even better with time as the engine settles down to its new settings Thumbs Up

All depends on what sort of kit you have and how much money you want to invest in doing it -

You can take the ECU out and take it apart and remove the processor/chip by de-solder and re-write the data file onto a new one and solder it back in, (the long way) or plug in through the diag (OBD) socket and load a new profile over writing the present one in there (the short way). Not many people use the long way any more. You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.

Exige1, out of interest - any idea what sort of 0-60 (& 0-30 etc) improvements are you getting on your chipped TDV6? Strangely the chipping companies don't seem to be particularly forthcoming with this info!
