in my new TDV8 I have the TV option. I won't be very popular with the environmentalists around here if I sit and watch TV with the motor running. How long do I dare watch TV while standing still with the motor off without risking running down the battery...if at all? Does it make a difference with which position the key is in?

I did the same thing as to switch back and again 2 or 3 times, only this time my screen dimmed, no rear illumination, I thought I burned the screen, but no! It was a security function to shutoff if not complete battery drain very possible!
