Oh dear.. i live here, but surprisingly don't actually know anyone that works at LR. Most of the people come from surrounding areas i think. Will still effect the local economy somewhat but hopefully they will beable to do it through voluntary redundancies as they state.

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Rimini Red

I hope the production switch to Halewood works better for LR than it did for Jaguar.

The old Ford Escort line turned out extremely shonkilly built X Types that simply fell to pieces as you drove them. My staff had a couple both rubbish.

We suspected that many vital components were stolen by the scousers and sold of on eBay - who knows. I just hope it doesn’t do the same for LR because the X Type disaster has to be massively contributory in the continued demise of Jaguar.

Off topic - has anyone seen their new copy of the Hyundai coupe? I’m just glad they’ve made it look less like an Aston. 11 XFR
