Posts: 24350    | Might also be worth posting this on the D3 site too, they tend to be a bit more muddy than us in general and as the RRS and D3 chassis are the pretty much the same, you'd expect the same mounting points etc.  | ||

Happy to say that i have never needed to be yanked out (although i have come close several times) I would not do a recovery from the front hook, it is a tie down and will break off. The rear point is ideal to be recovered.

TJ is right, the recovery points on both RRS and Disco/LR3s are basically part of the frame and very strong. According to LR, you can actually use them to lift and suspend the vehicle up in the air.   | ||||
