Take a look in my gallery, mine had them on, personally I think they finish the car off well and prevent huge amouts of mud, grit etc from spraying down the side of the car.

had them fitted to my rrs, but did not think that they made any difference,if tthaywere necessary, i think LR would have fitted them as standard. Although I had the RRS ones, aftera short time they began to lose the dark black colour, and turn to a smugy light black. I have now bought a FFRR without mud flaps |
