iPod cradle fitting

Looks like there's time (before the weekend) for Prestige to fit some Alpines into the headrests, so the back seat passengers can have their needs attended to.

But for me, in the front, I need iPod integration. I'd prefer the geniune LR kit, but don't know how much is reasonable to pay. Any ideas, or any viable alternatives? I have a Dension cradle in my S4 which I'm obviously familiar with...

True, but if you're going to be at Prestige anyway - can they not provide a solution?

I'm assuming the standard fit cradle is the best route, as it uses the steering wheel controls too...

I've seen on advertised by Nick @ Yeovil on fleabay, think its £146 but that's without fitting. I was happy to do the Dension myself in both my S4 and the missus' A4 cab, cos I knew how to remove the stereo and what to fit where... but I'm concerned the LR cradle is a bit trickier.

The car will be @ Prestige. I'm fortunate inasmuch as my dealer is local to them. I'd been speaking to Chris about DVD stuff anyway, and when my dealer mentioned Prestige, if they can get me the same (or better) deal via "trade", then it means one less thing for me to sort when I get the car.

Yeah, I already spoke about that when I was talking directly with Chris @ Prestige.

If my dealer can get the same stuff fitted (at Prestige) cheaper than I can with the forum discount, he can get it done for me. If not, it'd be pointless, and Chris can have the car after I've picked it up from the dealer and I'll get it done privately. All other things being equal, I want Prestige to do the work for the cheapest price, and I'm not fussy whether I arrange it or the dealer does... Very Happy
