My sunglasses dissappeared from the centre console and I searched carefully under the seats but had no joy.

I presumed they had fallen out of door when opened.

Today whilst hoovering out the carpets i put the seats fully forward as usual but this time I spotted a small piece of paper under passenger seat rear corner, nearest console. As I pulled the paper out it grew larger from the recess and then I heard the rattle of my glassses from within.

The rear steel folded floor mounts are open internally and form a hidden recess that can easily swallow up sunglasses. In my case the paper had alerted me to the 'hidey' hole.

If you have lost anything in the car, it may be worth trying these.

So that's where the kids are
