the S8 is £9k cheaper - could be one reason - but I'm with you on that one too - the W12 would have to be tempting |

There is standart wheel base version availble as well, and by the way it's cheeper then lwb... The price is almost the same (S8 and A8 W12 SWB). But that's my opinion, I've recently tried both of them, and W12 feels more solid and serious both inside and outside. Base price here - 172.000$ for the A8 W12 and 163.000$ for the S8 version. That's only 4%.
