I personally love the S8, in fact I think the A8 is the thinking mans executive car instead of the challenging looking 7series and the bulbous S-Class.

The 7s are lovely cars... but you're right, they've never really worked wonders on the eye. They need to be MSported and have 22s on to balance them out. Otherwise they look like they've been stood in the sun too long and started to melt

Apparently the new series of 5th gear started again on Monday with Tiff hoofing the R8 round their track. Didn't even know it was on, but repeated tomorrow (Sat 5th) at 10am (yes, in the morning).

Kaine, I found it much faster moving and more interesting without that other jerk Lovejoy. He just slowed things-down and thought he was being funny.., BUT WASN'T!!!

2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

I don't see any point in S8 when you can get A8 W12.
W12 is faster in the straight line (same bhp but more torque), it has better style, and more then that - it's more comfortable then S8.
Imho S8 is a bit stupid when there is W12 available. 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500
