Thanks to Robbi, the elusive 2point5 has been tracked down, please can everyone who has an ipod or wants one for their RRS, visit the website and request the dock for the RRS, it is only through numbers that they will produce one.

Also can an owner please post a picture of the ashtray of the RRS both open and closed, and if possible the measurements of the opening, as this will determine as to whether the ipod will fit and the ashtray will still close when not in use.

Thanks again Robbi good spot, the ipod will be the nail in the coffin for my buying decision

Remember, you'd still need to pick some electronics that plug into it. By itself, it's only a mount... with an extension cord for the iPod "dock" port.

An iPod Mini sits very nicely into the ashtray and doesn't rattle around.

Who needs a mount ? RRS TDV8 - Stornoway Grey, Irory Leather with Dark Zebrano, Privacy Glass, Tow Pack.
