Tim, that's exactly why one vehicle can only go round corners and other can only ride over bumps. Neither can do both well. Exaclty the same happens with the Jaguar XK8 sports and the XJ saloon - one goes round corners but has a bumpy ride over pot holes, the other smoothes over the bumps and is like a barge to drive.

It is only with recent developments in suspension design that the two characteristics can be successfully combined. Dynamic Response is one development which is helping to bring the two together and I see Porsche have now introduced their version in the Cayenne.

With the old technology in the FFRR, that is why the Doc is now a BIG ROCK AND ROLLER.  Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

All V8 6 speed FFRR now have the same suspension as the FFRR supercharged so they do handles loads better
