Need advice: RRS vs RR

hi guys,

i'm now deciding whether to get a rrs or rr. can you guys give me some expert opinions on the pros and cons of each. so far, my pros and cons list for the rrs is as follows:

pros
1) smaller car, better for city driving since i will be driving 95% of the time in the city.
2) cheaper of course.

cons
1) interior looks much less extravagant.
2) rrs doesn't have split tailgate, which seems to be a nice idea.

what are your views guys?

Hi Lauz
and welcome.
I prefer the tailgate system on the RRS.
It can be opened as one big hatch or as only the top portion.
In both cases it allows you to reach the forward area of the cargo space unlike the FFRR which makes you climb in to get to articles at the front (near the seats)
To counter some of the stories I've heard.........
The fully open hatch actually gives you more shelter when loading and unloading.
I am 6ft tall and my head doesn't hit the open hatch.
You can still have tailgate parties but you are sitting further inside the vehicle.
Suggest you look at each before deciding.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum!

If you're young, get a RRS, if you're old, get a RR (obviously there are some exceptions, VA). Wink 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

If you want a drivers car, then its the RRS TDV8 or SC for you.

If you want an armchair cruiser, then its the FFRR. Buy a bargain second hand TD6 - as, on your own admission, you are not a 'driver' and not looking for performance. Thumbs Up Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.
