Here are the shots they sent us..
Can you see who was driving? My father is bald, so we thought maybe you would beable to see his head poking over the headrest.
It does have privacy blinds for the back windows, which we thought would be a lot harder to see through then they actually are on the shots.. oh well.

Hi kam,

Got the "PM" cheers, I see the photo is now HUGE Very Happy . Difference being for me is your Dad was zapped by a fixed camera - with markings etc. Where as I was zapped by a mobile camera at night which takes video & then photos/frames are selected to send to the guilty Sad - but I only had 2 photos & have it in writing that the 2 photos are the only 2 pieces of evidence they have. Unlike calibrated fixed cameras I don't trust a " mobile " laser gun at night & why are the police only able to produce these two photos & not provide the missing frames?

case continues........... or should I say NOT!

Will I get a follow up reminder from them ? having not replied since receiving their last letter pointing out that my request for photographic/video evidence.... etc etc etc ... which ended.... " We may still prosecute" ?????????????? Confused

Would be fun to put something on the tree on the left as a permanent message to the cops! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

MDP I hope you are able to get through this.. and have a good story to tell us soon of how you managed to get the letter beggining " Dear MDP, We would like to inform you that we will not be proceeding with our case etc etc.. "

Yeah i know my dad was silly to have got zapped by this one, but he was rowing with my mum at the time and didn't pay attention for about 3 seconds, and wham, he was up to 40mph in a 30mph area and flash flash.. damn! Lesson: Always pay attention to the road! But being in our powerful cars, its so easy to get above the limit for all of us.!

I didn't let him live it down when he got it.. everytime he in the car with me and i see a yellow box i say: "see dad, that yellow box, thats what gets you them nasty red letters asking for £60 and makes your car insurance go up, so don't drive with your eyes closed next time!" - Have to take every opportunity i get to lecture him, he always seems to be doing it to me!

Still, the outcome is, i've got some brilliant snaps out of it, of my dads car in motion and a great idea to spray something onto that tree! (thanks VA!)
- but why not just spray over the lense while im there? surely that would be the best message for all of us? Kidding (would never condone that kind of behaviour! Laughing )

You should report the camera to that lot that go around blowing up speed cameras... I'm sure they'd be only too happy to lend their professional services Wink

remember when jeremy clarkson used a RR to pull down a speed camera on one of his videos/series, i reckon the Sport would do just as good of a job on them ! Now where did i see that ad for a towbar?

I forget what they're called (or it might just be a one-man band). Dutch I think... you can commission them/him to kill speed cameras in new and exciting ways. He takes video and photo footage while he's doing it Wink
