The slot for the tow bar, is shaped to take a variety of tow bars. It says in my owners handbook that in the Australian market the tow hook is different, but still stows in the same place.

Yup, certainly does!

Ireland

Only problem with those G4 D3’s & RRS’s is that they are V8 Petrol, which would be financial suicide here in Ireland Shocked

However, the ’09 Event G4 vehicles that visited my dealer last week were Diesel Cool

So they will be coming up for grabs after the event next year, so late ’09 or early ’10, one may have to make a move.

Or at least make preparatory moves in that direction Thumbs Up

BTW, on the subject of the tow bar down under, what way does it differ from our one up here ??

Any chance of a picky ??

Difficult to gauge the size of that wallet - could it be for a tow strap or rope of some sort? Confused

The strap down the middle - is that open or stitched in in places to create 'pockets'?

Whatever that wallet is it looks like it is meant to be hooked onto something - could it be a small sand mat?

It's definitley not a sand mat. The Wallet's not that big, maybe 40 or so centimetres in length.. The back is one long pocket theen the part you can see has the strap along the centre which is stitched at either end with the one metal loop on it. All I can think is that it is for storing bow shackles and D shackes as you could hook more onto this strap and then this folds into the inside of the wallet.

Tim - The tyres are General Grabber AT2's. I imported them from the US ( http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic10693.html?highlight= although they are available in Oz) and had them fitted on Sat in preparation for a long day in the forest yesterday Very Happy .

Depsite owning a pikey wagon himself, the guy who managed the tyre shop couldn't believe I was taking the sport off road... quote "why are you fitting these to your car?"

The tyre guys D3:

I have no idea! Sorry.
My mate bought the set for me and it was just packed separately.

Perhaps you could ask your dealer, they might have a tow kit for sale somewhere! Malaysia Boleh!

Hey 2nd Rower

Thanks for the pictures....I have been dudded! I didn't get the bag / wallet thing or the two shackles with my tow pack. I have been using the big ring between the two electrical plugs with one large shackle which I bought myself.

Is the big centre ring between the two electrical plugs safe to use for a safety chain?
