L494 Air Bag light again

On a roll with problems at the moment, the Air Bag warning light seems to come and go on its own, the fault is saying driver seatbelt pretensioner control, any ideas what or where this is.
Thanks.

There is a known problem with the airbag wiring loom being too short.
This happened on my 2016 SVR and is more likely to occur if you have comfort mode enabled (the seats move when you get in and out of the car).
Easiest way to confirm or rule it out, is move the seat all the way forward and climb in the back and reach under the seat to disconnect and reconnect the wiring looms under the seat.
I did this on mine and the light never came on again.
Hope that helps. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

I too had the same problem, connector needed cleaning under the seat. I found this helped to locate the connector.

Simple job when back of the seat is removed...Just unclipped the loom sprayed contact cleaner, refitted plug then refit seat back. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Rangerover Sport 2016 4.4 sdv8 A/B loire blue.

Ok, put the drivers seat as far forwards Well all most, it sounded like the wires under there were getting to stretched so I stoped, I then pressed my pre set button so the seat went back to my position, stoped the engine, then re started and the air bag light went out, I know I have probably only moved the offending connection under there but let’s see how long it lasts.

What I thought was a quick fix did not work, light back on, if I mess about with wires under the seat it goes off sometimes but reappears, got a telling off from the wife today for the obscene language after it reappeared to day.
