I would take the 600Bhp claim with a pinch off salt unless I saw the results on a Dyno. My Transmission/Gearbox, Axles etc. on my 5.0L have lasted 5 years with no problem with a pulley upgrade and re-map. Have the readout here somewhere, if I remember right the torque went up to 750Nm on the Dyno and Bhp somewhere between 60-70Bhp.

Cheers
Col

hmmm, i did, but if you can get to all of the E torx bolts then nah.

because it is a Censored nightmare to remove the bolts behind the supercharger.

The 4.2L has the Eaton M112 Supercharger the 5.0L has the Eaton Twin Votex TVS R1900. I don't recall Alive Tuning removing the S/C when they did the pulley on my 5.0L albeit a RRS1, they did the remap and pulley change while I waited, although to be fair I did not watch what they were doing and it was over 6 years ago now.

Cheers

Gents, does anyone know where the filler plug is on the Eaton 1900 supercharger on the L494?

Can't find it at the front.

Cheers Col, thanks.

I was wanting to change the oil while doing the pulley upgrade, but that's too much of a mission.

It'll have to wait until June, when the 7yr service is due, since it will be in the shop for a couple of days.

Had I know, I would have organised to have it done when they were replacing the crossover coolant pipe. --
