Pivi Pro

Has anyone got any experience with the new pivi pro infotainment system. I have MY 22 RRS turning up shortly and have just found out it with have this new system

I have a MY22 and it does not have Pivi Pro. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

2022 HSE Dynamic P400e

2017 Discovery 3.0 HSE Silicon Silver Nimbus interior and a few extra toys SOLD

2013 HSE Black, Orkney Grey, Ebony Seats and Ivory Interior SOLD

2006 HSE

Plus a few other cars inbetween!

It doesn't have Pivi Pro, it's still running Incontrol Touch Duo.

I have a Defender with Pivi Pro and its excellent and the brand new SVR i picked up yesterday still has InControl like all my others. They are switching to Pivi for the new Sport that launches next month.

Someone is giving you bad information. Now

I’ve spoke with JLR and given them my order number, they have confirmed the car will come with Privi Pro.

Im fairly confident that it will 👍🏼

Presumably it will be the same hardware but just running new software. Was your MY22 built this year or last?

So I stand fully corrected, as people have rightly said Pivi Pro will not be on my new RRS but will come with the duo touch.
This has somewhat dampened the excitement for the car, plenty of commentators describing the system as laggy and very outdated.
Think I’ll go and have quick cry 😢

I’ve not experienced PiviPro but TouchPro Duo definitely seems to have improved over various updates since I got my first RRS in 2019. The latest version on my 2022 model is still slightly laggy occasionally but generally I don’t notice it or find it a problem. Life’s not so short that I can’t usually wait 0.77 secs or whatever for something to happen!!

That's is good news, mine is MY22 build as well and the dealer told me the car went into build on the 1st March and it should be with them at 15th so when I picking up will know which info system they got and will be happy if they got Privi Pro as the dealer told me any car build after 1st March will be MY22 build and before that will be MY21.5 build.

When is your arriving at the dealer?
