Why?? It's an off-road vehicle and looks much meaner covered in road grime or mud, and there is the added bonus that if it is filthy nobody will park close enough to get their clothes dirty brushing against your car getting in and out of theirs........ black ones especially look way better in matte road dirt shade with matching road dirt shade wheels. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I washed mine on Sunday, well sorry no that is a direct lie the other half washed it and it took him ages Laughing . Its a big vehicle to wash and wash well. Some of our car wash places are a bit "rumbly" so not sure if I would even trust them to wash it for me, looks like I will be busy this evening lol.

I'm a bit ocd on cleaning and have washed it every day this week thanks to the crud it collects. However looking at your point about people not wanting to park near in case they get dirty brushing against it.... That has me thinking a whole different ball game now. Thumbs Up

I'm with Tim on this one. A dirty Sport is a lovely Sport. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The problem is if it is that filthy surely you are risking your own/your family's clothes getting dirty too. You can't avoid touching/brushing against your own car especially in tight car park spaces. In my experience my dirty car has never been able to deter people from parking next ( and very close Rolling Eyes ) to it because there are hardly any free spaces. I must admit mine is lucky if it gets a wash every 3-4 weeks. And that too is mainly to avoid the problem I mentioned above ... I'm ok with a dirty car but not with dirty clothes Laughing Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
