Not sure what the Blackvue runs voltage wise, but please be aware most run at 5v, so if you are hardwiring it in, as i have done with my camera, you will need to go to Maplins and by a voltage dropper 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

Never had to fit dropper on either of the Blackvue Cameras fitted to my past or present Sports.

I always run mine through a Power Magic Pro which has the built Battery Voltage Sensor plus Switch to allow Camera on permanently or a Timer option.
