Sounds a bit fishy MAC!

I ordered a 16.5MY at the end of January - no problems. Factory spec sheet confirms will be a 2016.5 car, to be built 11 March, with the dealer by 1st April.

I'm a little concerned that my build date is 14/4 and was promised one of the first 16.5MY of the dealership. I have bought through a large network dealer, so I'm not sure why my build is a month behind yours Zapp79!!!  Just arrived: Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic, black contrast panoramic roof, red brembos.

Yes - after a little nudge, the dealer agreed to 'price protect' my order at 2016MY prices.

They initially wanted to apply the price valid at time of delivery (so 16.5MY price). I invited them to procreate in an offward direction.


When I ordered pw1, the dealer hadn't got his Q2 build allocations. I guess 'advance orders' just get backfilled by LR, so its pot luck? Cant really explain it. On the factory system it shows ordered 01/02/16, LDOC 16/02/16, Planned build date 11/03/16, planned delivery 01/04/16. Dealer thinks they will get it a little sooner than that.

Placed my order 21st Jan, agreed tweaks 3rd Feb - dealer confirmed 16.5MY Bulld got them to hold on 16MY pricing build fix date 8th Feb - build date 11th March - Delivery date end of March.

Spoke to the dealer today and my build has been brought forward from 14/4 to 18/3 , very glad that has happened! The dealer thought it could even be a week earlier than that in reality. He also confirmed there has been an issue with the stealth wheels. Just arrived: Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic, black contrast panoramic roof, red brembos.

TOKA - He did not speak as though it had been a big problem, I believe the main reason my build date has come forward is because customer orders take priority over stock and the Land Rover system is subject to change!!

We had an incident in 2014 when I ordered my parents a Range Rover Vogue SE and if you wanted a panoramic sunroof the lead time was many months longer due to short supply! Just arrived: Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic, black contrast panoramic roof, red brembos.

Has there been any confirmation of 16.5's delivered or at any dealers and what the actual changes are?
