Pretty sure that carpets will fall under the "fair wear and tear" exclusion.

I'm happy now that whatever I bring into the car on the underside of my shoes will not cause damage to the carpeting.

And I can take them out for the summer................it won't rain then, will it? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
