At first I thought something weren't right with the reading, but on checking back on previous readings for similar journeys ie; no need to hurry motorway journeys it says only a little bit less, on the other hand, short, and sometimes spirited journeys it says what you would expect high teens low twentys.
I'm hoping I only need to knock off 5 mpg to get a more accurate reading, but something tells me it'll need to be more Rolling with laughter
So, any guesses need to be a fair bit North of 40 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

Right, as there have been LOADS of guessing going on Rolling with laughter I thought I'd just post up a screen shot of the incontrol info and see what you make of it. I'll be doing the return trip later today so as I will be driving some would say " normally " Laughing I will also post another screen shot of that trip to show what the difference is. So here goes, don't all laugh at once

So guys, with the mpg that the car is showing, do I assume right that I would need to at least take off 10 mpg ?
Any thoughts anyone? 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

My thoughts are that it is a completely useless software application Shocked What on earth is the point of it when the readings are way out of kilter?

I cant see what all the fuss is about. The only true reading you need is fuel gauge. When its getting low fill it up. Whistle Whistle I was always told if you have to worry about how much MPG it does. You cant afford it itisme

That's exactly what I do, it gets low so I fill it up Thumbs Up it's because of the incontrol I can now look at things on the sofa, and when I saw some fairly high mpg readings for a SDV6, I decided to see what I could get it up to as I was in no hurry so thought why not. Just out of interest what are you getting out of your supercharged Whistle 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

Here is my contribution after 3397miles since new in December 14.

It's not totally accurate I refilled after the trip and did the maths. Actual is 41.7 mpg. Still quite incredible to me.
I remember back in the 70/80 when 35 mpg was an event.

Come on guys you aren't even trying.................... according to the InControl in my Evoque 9 speed auto my best trip average so far is 90.2mpg. I use the Fuelly website to monitor every tankful of fuel though and that gives a more realistic figure. In almost 12 months and 7300 miles Fuelly reckons my Evqoue has achieved an average of 39.3mpg with a tankful best average of 43mpg.
http://www.fuelly.com/car/land_rover/range...Tim/248608
Compared to the previous 6 speed auto Coupe Evoque that I had which achieved 35 average and 43mpg best tankful over similar conditions/ runs in a year
http://www.fuelly.com/car/land_rover/range...Tim/117388
My last RRS was a TDv8 and I had no problems getting over 30mpg on a motorway haul in that so hopefully my SDv6 will do a lot better.
BTW the 90.2mpg was over a 2 miles very steep downhill trip, hardly a good representation but I'm sure that a creative ad man would be able to claim that in real life this figure is "easily achieved on a steep downhill run!" 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

So what did the feully site say your average was ? On my evoque I didn't reset the dash trip for over 10,000 miles (it zeros itself at 10k) and that said 29.2, so I was likely getting less than that Shocked , you must of been Rolling with laughter when you saw 90.2, unless of course you knew about that really BIG hill you were coasting down Laughing 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits.
