Heads up on some warranty work feedback

Car's been in to Harwoods, Pulborough for some 'cosmetic' work.

Drivers front seat swab replaced due to leather wearing on outer seam, also replaced was the underlying foam cushion which was rucking.

All wheelnuts replaced due to rust, all drums cleaned of rust staining from the nuts.

Check under the driver and front passenger seat, there is a curved metal guard - both of mine were showing light dusting of rust, these have been replaced.

The issue of the upper door of the boot marking the paintwork of the main frame door resolved by a LR Bulletin, two rubber nipples now in place either side of the curtessy light and some plastic trim removed. Paintwork made good.

The discoloration of the rear seats (alpacca) caused by the LR seatcovers staining them in grey couldn't be removed (once covers removed it is far worse than prev tought) and a full set of alpacca leather seat swabs has been ordered for the whole rear seat area of the car. The waterproof Covers are now withdrawn for the RRS. We have asked that new swabs are not fitted until the new covers are available.

Noisy wiper blades replaced.

Software upgrade carried out.

The passenger side rear triangular window rubber has been ordered since the original rubber surround is breaking down.

Supercharged Grill fitted £140, ooops!! , but it does look good. Apparently LR are getting a bit fussy as to who buys the grills and are asking for Vin numbers before ordering them.. I had no prob though but I guess it could have already been in stock.

Car going bl##dy well !!

Regards to all........

New non LR aftermarket SatNav being fitted into the SE oddment tray, I think you will be impressed, will post with photos once all done. Wink P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!!

Did you get the VEP work done, BoldlyGo? I've been very impressed with the way the car handles after having the suspension valves replaced under this programme.
