3.6 tdv8

i am looking at buying a 2010 3.6 td v8 but would like to know what to look out for before i buy on this car.

also does it also require the dreaded cam belt to be replaced at 160 000kms as the 2.7tdv6?

will it be better to rather look at a 2010 3.0 tdv6 with lower mileage.

The TDV8 is a chain rather than a belt so no belt change required (although there is still an accessories belt to do I believe).

The 3.0TDV6 will give you better fuel economy with little real difference in performance. If you can get one, I'd go for that over the TDV8 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I'm not sure I'd get rid of either a D3 or a FFRR in order to get a RRS. The D3 covers most useage requirements and the FFRR gives the option of "posh" if required. The RRS is just a D3 without the internal space. And it's an RR without the prestige of being a "proper" RR. If you wanted to get rid of both and have one 4x4 then the RRS might have a role to play, but to be honest the FFRR would be the better choice in that case in my opinion.

If you just want to get something different (and who doesn't like a change occasionally? Thumbs Up ) then I'd guess keeping the D3 and replacing the the FFRR with a RRS would make more sense in terms of maintaining overall practicality. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

South Africa 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Fuji White

Hi vnitos

I just bought a rrs 2010 tdv8 with 55000km on the clock. Had a disco 4 sdv6 hse. Disco was more spacious, but the tdv8 is a monster especially with a remap.

You will love it, it feels more solid imho.
