Stalling

My 55 reg sport supercharged doesn't like cold mornings. It starts first turn then stalls .if you restart it and give it a little throttle for about 45 seconds it will then idle and run fine.
I recently fitted a new battery any help please

Spoke to Westover Landrover really very helpful
They have suggested it may be as simple as a software update for the engine ECU....have any other
members had this done to there cars?

I don't think SCs have idle control valves, showing your age me thinks everything is taken care off by an electronic throttle valve.
Which is why the software approach seems reasonable, maybe it's caused by wear remember the good old days where you could adjust the accelerator cable for wear and tear
