United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Java Black

I must apologise for being here so late but I have a cough and can't sleep so thought to check out a few sites.

Thanks to Singletrack for his great contribution. I will check out as advised and see what can be done.

BTW, I finally got my confirmation email from LR about the Gaydon day (July 15th am). I'm really looking forward to it too! It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!

Is my Java RRS Clear coated or not?

The Zaino products (which I will give a try) ask if the paintwork is clear coated or non-clear coated?

How do you tell? It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

Yep - still here!

I just read that Advanced Car Products (UK suppliers of the Zaino range) offer BMW forum members 10% off this stuff (which is worth having at these prices)

Quote:
"Special Kit
New kit package specialy for the BMW Car Club M Power forum members, as suggested by Jon Wiseman.
Contents of the kit suggested by Jon, and discounted by 10%.
We've included Z1, Z2 or Z3 (depending on paint - Z2 for clear coat, Z3 for flat paint), Z7, Z8 and Z-PC.
Postage is £6.95 on a 3-day service with Night Freight."

Is there any chance Martin could negotiate a similar scheme for RRSport members? It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

Most Pearlescent,Micatallic, Scintachrome, Chronmaflair and metallic paints have a clearcoat to protect them as metallic paints are not as durable as "solid" paints and need the clear coat to protect them from damage and fading. Your Java has a clearcoat over the micatallic 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The solution to not having birds mistake your shiny car for a lake, is simply not to wash it. It works for me! My car is so dirty, you can hardly tell its a car. Laughing

Good one from Stratstone Woburn Green

Called Stratstone Woburn Green today re : the bird poo and guess what?

They have agreed to re-do the JewelUltra Diamond Brite treatment as they say the bird sh!t should not have damaged the paint like I said it did.

Good on 'em thats what I say It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!
