I ordered the 400 v2 - supposed to be the best but it is grey - some on disco have sprayed theirs black but not decided if I will yet Confused

I always park in well lit/public areas, with cctv if possible, have laminated glass and double locked with internal sensors armed so not sure if anyone would attempt to steal the camera - I think they would draw too much attention to themselves Thumbs Up

I went for the power saver for the RRS and spare holder/power lead for the mini which will be used abroad when I hire a car in future Cool

I put the socket from the power saver in the glovebox so I can unplug the lead if parked in the garage and connected with piggyback fuses http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-MINI-FUSE-AD...0367943245

Yellow permanent supply lead - fuse 48 - Trailer connector (battery feed)
Red switched supply lead - fuse 52 - Cigar lighter
Black to earth screw on metal

I will take a pic when I can Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I've had one of them from the first group buy on disco3.

They are a fantastic piece of equipment. I think I'm gonna get another one for the workvan too. I didn't get the standby thing though - might be handy to add it in, any pics of the installation of the standby unit mate MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

@muddy

Can't say I'd have been too worried by the situation in the OP. Sure, he pulled across you but he started to do so when you were still a little way from the junction - i.e. you weren't to his right on the roundabout. One might suggest he was a little quick to pull out but then one might also suggest you were approaching a bit quickly based on the fact there are two cars to your right, either of which might have turned across you (particularly the first one which got to the r'about at about the same time as you did). I'd have probably given a little toot on the horn as I passed behind the hatchback - perfectly reasonable use of the horn as you're informing another driver of your presence on the road.

This seems to be one of those "felt bad at the time" incidents that, with hindsight, probably wasn't that bad.

Having said that, the golden rule is that one shouldn't carry out any manoeuvre that makes another driver feel he needs to take avoiding action. In this case you probably felt that way so the hatchback driver was a bit naughty if not actually that dangerous.

Just my view of a snapshot video of a fairly typical roundabout incident.

The camera's output, however, is first rate. I've been thinking of installing something similar and this has certainly provided food for thought Bow down 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Have had mine for about a year.Checked playback after a 40 ton truck pulled infront of me....on a roundabout with near dire
consequences......found the last recorded file was dated 20/08/12 ....looks like the card has died and is not recording.
Tried updating pittasoft ware but still wont work although "She" says the usual welcome on start up.
Shall buy another card and try again.I dont find it "plug and play" so advise anyone to consider this before purchase! Neutral

According to the instructions you need to reformat the sd card regularly and check for firmware updates Confused

Mine had a wobbly yesterday and kept restarting and telling me to check sd card - I disconnected and then plugged it back in and it appeared to sort it Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

That is the problem......tried to reformat the card twice and downloaded the latest software but it really is quite geeky
not like using a Video camera not plug and play.Looks like another 2 hours of hit and miss on the pc to get it going again .
Korean pijin english doesnt help too much either Sad

What are you using to format the SD card?

You should use the sd formatter software that you can download from Pittasoft site. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil
