Fob £30 from ebay - same as the one from BAS or LR

Receiver (LR036695) - £126

Antenna (LR030544) - £11.16

Screen not enabled yet - been quoted 1 hour labour at 1 of 2 different friendly LR garages.

Don't look like I have to take the panels off the car either as the electrical plug is just inside the secret hatch in the boot

Ah, I now understand your post Steuart in James' LPR A/B thread Wink

Think I'll give it a miss for while then. Moving home this week and new house had a nice big garage, to probably no requirement for it anyway in the winter. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Update - had the side panel of the inside of the boot (surprised how easy they come off) and fitted the receiver and connected the antenna, not sure where the other end of the antenna goes to to be honest, looks like it wants to fit to the roof aerial

Part as told to buy from LR is LR030544 (wiring - auxiliary heater)connects to the receiver and then to .... - ideas ?

Will this work as an aircon when engine not running (i.e. to make the car cool when stationary)?

so I'm lead to believe (the word climate made me think that) other wise its just going to be used to heat the car up when its get snowy or after a rugby game when I'm froze to the bone

Well I know of the climate control only as a pre-heater therefore surprised when you say that, especially as I am also after an pre-aircon (i.e. set temp and let the the car use the fuel to cool down, same as to heat up). Anyone knows the options?

Job is all done

Update - the cable supplied by LR was for my car but for a model that has a digital TV tuner fitted, changed it to LR008654 stuck it to the rear of the roof under roof trim.

Visited local LR approved man with a AutoLogic

£40 later

All tested and working
