i have a 2007 TDV8 and you really need a 4 post ramp to change it, it is pretty much under the drivers seat, not literally of course Laughing remove all the front plastic panels from the underside of the car, and where the front cross member is, it sits on top of that, behind another cover plate, it is very awkward to remove as the exhaust is in the way, you have to unscrew it, and pull it out sideways.
I watched my local indie do it on mine, so i know its not a a home diy jobby, unless you have a ramp, or a pit
Also there is a connector fitted to the bottom of the filter, this should be handled very carefully as they are easy to brake, it has to be removed from the old filter and fitted to the new one, it is a water sensor, so any any water contamination the sensor picks up, it shuts the engine down, or puts it into limp mode, if you break this connector, then you will need a complete new fuel filter houseing, and the exhaust then does have to come off. 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

On a 2007 onwards TDV8, you have to first remove the transmission undershield, 6 bolts...

... and then remove the fuel filter heat shield, 3 bolts..,

... and you'll see the fuel filter Smile Malaysia Boleh!

Just change the filter myself.
It's possible my just putting the suspension in the off-road position.
It took about 20 minutes all up.

Thumbs Up TDV8 RRS, NAS D90, D2 TD5.
