Best Place for Pre Purchase Inspection?

Hello All

Where would you reccommend to do a good pre-purchase inspection? When I buy it may ne through private sale
And would like the car professionally inspected before committing.

If all goes well I should have a 5.0 SC HSE next year,(cant decide if i prefer Santorini or the white) and plan to get the AB conversion done.

Any info much appreciated

I would look for an independent Land Rover specialist near where the car you are buying is located and book it in there.

It shuld be cheaper (an hours labour) plus they will know all the common issues to look for as well as the standard checks Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)

I had mine inspected by my local independent (Swinfield Cooper in Leicester) and they didn't charge me! Have had all my last four Landrovers serviced there though.

^^^ I'd say that's the best way forward to be honest. As said, they should be very aware of the inherent problems. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

An indy close to where I end up purchasing sounds best.

In a few months my Evo9 will be up for sale and the hunt for a nice new shape RR Sport 5.0 SC will begin
