Further to Foxy's Activity Thread,

I thought I would start a separate thread for the ones who want to shoot a few clays.

In May Freel2 did one at Coniston Hall, Skipton and they could offer all equipment, guns, instructor's and 35 clays for £45.00, then they required ten people minimum, they will even organise a little competition (basically scored the event 7 clays on 5 stands)

My thoughts was it was a good few hours, as nearly all those who came had never shot before with the instructors it was a safe way to carry out the mornings shooting, but those who shoot will know 35 clays/£45 is quite expensive

So let see who is Interested and whether that Experienced, Novices/New to shooting or those who have never shot and see many guns we have available between us as and take it from there for location and layout of the meet

I am a beginner but have my own gun, but was easier just to use theirs on the day

But if there is only a handfull and a few with guns we might be able to do it a little different and make it cheaper

If we are looking at having it at coniston then perhaps you should decideo n dates as i have quite strong links with the place

Same as the north yorkshire LRE, maybe something could be arranged there too, if anyone has a contact

As mentioned in the original thread, LPR are up for arranging a weekend shooting day at EJ Churchill. Thoughts are to pit each forum against each other. Probably do one day RRE, RRS and FFRR with 10 in a team, then do Def, FL2 and D3/4 on another day.

If there I enough interest then LPR will fund FOC or perhaps a notional forum donation?

Quite a way for me, but sounds fun too, there's a few that shoot on FL2 so see what you can put together too

Would be up for that one James cause a lot closer than the Leeds one.

When Freel2 did it, there was 2 who had shot before, myself and toeknee, i came in joint third and he came in last and the winner says he had never been shooting in his life, now whether that's believable, I'm sure he had a Marines sharpshooter tattoo somewhere on him
