The silver one on the bottom of the transporter doesn't have any exhaust trims. I also saw a picture in Autocar of a green one which didn't have any exhaust trims. Do only some models have the trims? Overall, I think the Evoque looks quite good BUT I just can't get my head around the tail lights. They just don't look right for the car.

Exhaust trims depend on the model -
2x square chromed pipes (which are fakes BTW the exhaust comes out of normal downward pointing pipes under the rear valance) = Dynamic

2x Chromed "conventional" pipes = Prestige

2x Nothing fancy = Pure

Only one tail pipe = the 2WD version

The reason that some are missing trim is because the trim also hided the towing/ lashing eye.

Dynamic has a totally different body kit to the Prestige and Pure models, it is also different at the front as it has a black grille and black side styling - Prestige has chrome-a-like front grille side bits and Pure has matt grey 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

To share some info for all those interested in the new Evoques a friend of mine has recently started as a temp in Liverpool on his first day was informed the factory is currently 3000 cars behind on production schedule.....

Not sure if that's news to anyone but either way will explain any delays on anyone's delivery dates.....

I have to say that I loved the Evoque I took out at the Nottingham event, drove it about 10-15 miles and thought it's road manners were great, also took it over the terapod and the ramps.
Loved the look of the two door version but hated sitting in the back of it so will get a 5 door one if Mrs S lets me, fingers crossed I should be able to afford keeping the Disco to sit next to it on my drive.

I hope to be driving out of James's showroom in it on the 9th, the day that dealers are allowed to put them out, launch day is the 8th. Experiences of test driving so far is that it is a very well built car, I'm hoping it isn't going to be too much like a Range Rover and suffer all the problems that some seem to get with theirs.
It will be my 4th RR after 1 x 2003MY L322, 2 x RRS and a 20101MY FFRR - here's hoping it can maintain my run of near faultless Range Rovers (only ever suffered small easily fixed faults with any of mine, annoying but nothing enough to spoil the ownership experience). I would love to be keeping my current FFRR but after one break-in and an attempted break-in at my house to steal it's key fobs I need something that I can hide in a secure garage. The Evoque came along in the nick of time - if the local Audi dealers had been a bit more enthusiastic to sell me an A6 Allroad last February I would have one of those in my garage by now. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
