Move to Evoque?

Just seen the Evoque in the flesh at Bluewater and am considering part exing my immaculate Dec 06 RRS TDV6 HSE with only 20'000 on the clock. My reservation is that someone is going to get the best of the deal when they buy my RRS. Would you do it?

No, don't px your motor, sell it private there are a lot of people at the moment trying to get into the ownership of the sport and yours sounds like a very good buy for a first timer, LR will offer you next to nothing for it, i would sell it private then look at getting an evoque if thats what you really want Thumbs Up

Hi Ady 555
I love the RRS and maybe it's still too good to sell but as you can see it sits on the drive most of the time between washes! So maybe it's time to move on.

Yes, only you can decide that, if you get the evoque then decide its not the motor for you, then i'm sure with the demand that there is for them you will move it on without too much of a loss if at all.

It will never be an RRS but it seems very economic in terms of Tax and fuel

Would I swap my car for a lesser, cheaper, worse looking, less equipped one? No.

Beats the old 4.2 Supercharger........not bad for a 4 cylinder Shocked Shocked

As for

Maximum speed mph (kph) 112 (180)

Check those mpg's!!! Ridiculous.

IMO change now and do the part ex / private sale. You have a low mileage car in the old shape which is only going to be hit hard in the coming months price wise and exchange it for a brand new more exclusive model (initially anyway) with much newer technology and hopefully (if its built like the F2) no faults or issues. The Evoque will be the most desirable LR product for the next 18-24 months.............until at least the new L405 Daddy becomes available Thumbs Up L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

5 series for the miles Smile

RRS S/C factory built HST - Gone

45 others have been and gone!
