2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

There's a pic of a white on white S/C over on www.RangeRovers.net/forums posted by a guy in Seattle. Will see if I can find it on my computer as I had it as my desktop pic for a while.

Found it Bobby

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

Thanks for the pics, Tim.

Any idea how I can confirm if the car is fitted with Dynamic Response? No point of asking the dealers and, through experience, I cannot rely on LR.
Anything that is visible when I inspect the car?

Will appreciate any assistance, thanks. Malaysia Boleh!

Bobby, pop the hood / bonnet open. Vehicles with fitted DR have the reservoir for the system on the front of the engine bay, immediately to the LEFT of the cooling fan (power steering, cooling system, washer fluid reservoirs are all grouped to the RIGHT of the fan), and the cap has the DR symbol on it (a car icon with arrows above it.) If there is no reservoir there, the car does not have Dynamic Response. Smile

JJ, agree with you the white/white combination will look great....
Only problem will be to keep the interior clean!!

Could not take any nice pictures of the actual car interior as it was still covered in plastic; anyway this is what it looks like...

Another way to check that it has the Dynamic Pack Bobby is to look behind the wheels................. you should see black Brembo brake calipers in there! I thought all S/C's have DP as standard to stop them falling over going at fighterbomber speeds round corners and to stop them taking off when going over bumps! Laughing

Also Bobby, I have the Ivory and Aspen interior - the Ivory hasn't been difficult to keep clean. LR seem to have selected materials that are easier to keep clean than the ivory/parchment interior that I had in the FFRR I ran. I must admit that my seats are Aspen, not Ivory but the dash and doors are exactly the same as the one you show. I have no kids to mucky up the inside though. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes, Tim. The car has the Brembo brakes but after seeing how LR UK can send rubbish here disguised as a 1st Edition - I'm not taking any chances. I will have confirmation by Monday.

Ivory seats are a little more difficult to upkeep I would think, unlike yours which I believe are like this...

My god, Bobby... I must've missed the additions to this thread during my recent enforced absence from the forum! I can't believe you've had to wait 18 months for your car to appear only to find it's not what you ordered. This is unbelievable... what are they playing at?

I'd agree with what everyone else has said. The white looks great on the RRS and if it comes with all the right components, then it's a no brainer! It'll look 1000 times better than the alternative Turbo you were looking at, even if it won't be quite as much of a white-knuckle ride Wink

Good luck mate! Thumbs Up

shmoogle, I'm surprised and disappointed with LR. Apparently they are not bothered what combination cars they send out!

As I have mentioned earlier, one would have thought they would have insisted on a certain minimum specs for the 1st Edition - after all this model was supposed to be the ultimate, the tops in the RRS range. But no, LR UK just says that you get what you ordered!! Unfortunately, the ordering was done by a silly Marketing Manager from a third-world country who had practically no idea what an RRS was!!!

The MD of LR Malaysia is very understanding and would like to help me. Currently I am looking at this Chowton White which has the sunroof and RSE. I have just signed another order (exactly one year and one month after my first order of the 1st Edition!) . I will need to confirm the other additions which are not so visible and then complete this order.

Will keep the forum posted. Malaysia Boleh!

OK guys. As per umbertob's guide, there is the Dynamic Response reservoir in the car - so it must have the DR.

I am offered the Chawton White SC with
Stormer wheels,
side steps,
body side mouldings,
carpet mat set, ebony,
cherrywood facia kit, and
loadspace mat.

At the original price. They are selling the 1st Edition (the 3 useless units!) and normal SC at the same price here.

I would assume that's the best I can get out of this deal, so its up to me to take it or leave it.

Any suggestions?? Malaysia Boleh!
